The Churdhar Trek is one of the most scenic Himalayan treks in Himachal Pradesh, located in the Sirmaur district at an altitude of 3,647 meters (11,965 ft). This trek offers breathtaking views of the Shivalik ranges, dense forests, and majestic Himalayan peaks. The trail passes through lush green meadows, thick pine and deodar forests, and beautiful mountain landscapes.
At the summit lies the sacred Chureshwar Mahadev Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, along with the famous Shirgul Devta temple. From the top, trekkers can witness panoramic views of Himalayan peaks including Badrinath, Kedarnath, and the Sutlej valley on clear days.
