Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival at Manali | Acclimatization & Preparation

Arrive in Manali by afternoon. Meet the trek leader and fellow participants. After check-in, enjoy a relaxed acclimatization walk around the town.

In the evening, attend a detailed trek briefing covering safety guidelines, route overview, weather conditions, and equipment check. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel / guesthouse.

Day 2 - Manali → Jobra | Trek to Chika

After breakfast, drive to Jobra, the starting point of the trek. Begin the walk towards Chika, following a gentle trail through pine forests and open meadows along the Rani Nallah stream.

Reach Chika by afternoon and settle into the campsite. Spend the evening enjoying views of the surrounding valley. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 3 - Chika → Balu Ka Ghera

Wake up to beautiful mountain views. After breakfast, continue the trek towards Balu Ka Ghera. The trail includes river crossings, rocky sections, and wide grasslands.

Take regular breaks and enjoy the changing landscapes as you ascend gradually. Reach the campsite by afternoon. Evening at leisure followed by dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 - Balu Ka Ghera → Hampta Pass → Shea Goru

This is the most adventurous and rewarding day of the trek. Start early and trek towards Hampta Pass. The climb is steep in parts and may involve snow crossings depending on the season.

After reaching the pass, enjoy panoramic views of the Kullu Valley on one side and the stark landscapes of Lahaul on the other. Begin the descent towards Shea Goru. Reach the campsite by evening. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 5 - Shea Goru → Chatru → Chandratal (Optional) → Manali

After breakfast, trek down to Chatru. From here, drive back to Manali. If weather and road conditions permit, take a detour to the beautiful Chandratal Lake (optional).

Reach Manali by evening. The trek concludes with unforgettable memories of the Himalayas.

Day 6 - Chatru → Chandratal → Manali | Scenic Drive & Conclusion

After early breakfast, drive to the beautiful Chandratal Lake (subject to road and weather conditions). Spend time exploring the crescent-shaped high-altitude lake and enjoying its serene surroundings.

Post-visit, continue the drive back to Manali via Kunzum region. Reach Manali by late evening, marking the end of an unforgettable Himalayan journey.
